Stained Glass World
There is a point when I can't do everything I want to a piece (in this case, time restraints prevent it) and when that happens I become entirely disenfranchised with the work and dismissively churn out a result, any result... I don't hate it. I'm just disengaged and jaded with it.
Considering this and the fact I devoted the bulk of the time (the time by far to the build, even more than usual) it isn't bad.
I will not show or discuss my lighting setup.
I didn't include a baby Goldfish because I didn't have enough room in such a small tank (already crowded with actual design elements) for a heater.
Instead, the black sand is my reference for the actual scale of this.
I don't title my images unless it's something "scientific" because I do NOT share the belief that the viewer gets to decide what any of my work is about. I find that idea to be disrespectful and presumptuous.
Creating this, I was listening to the song "Cliffhanger" by the Finnish Cinematic / symphonic metal band, "Dark Sarah".
In the story of "Sarah", Cliffhanger is about a "rainbow world".
That being said, I purposely left PURPLE out of these images because I didn't want a full rainbow.
I find using rainbow color schemes is either somewhat reserved for making "personal" statements (respectfully) and when it's used for anything else it just looks cheap, tacky, and garish.
Oops. I have to learn how to delete accidental duplicate images from this thing still.
Sometimes I despise technology...
